What You Need to Know About Stranger Things 3: The Game

The much anticipated third season of Stranger Things only launched on July 4th, 2019. And, if you have watched the show, you’ll see the various plots tie in with the holiday nicely.

You know how some shows and movies have “director’s cuts” or “uncut” versions? Well, playing the Stranger Things 3 game is like that – but, so much better.

Within the game, you have twelve heroes to choose from. This means there is unending variety for interactions, battles, quests, secrets, plots, and more.

Now, the game does not have an online co-op, so you’ll have to meet your friends in person to play this way. But, that just makes it so much more realistic. The game was launched so quickly because the designers were given access to the show’s scripts. So, if you haven’t seen all of season three, there will be spoilers within the game.

The game is developed by BonusXP, the same company who developed the Stranger Things mobile game after the release of Stranger Things 2. You even get to make your own body armor, and you get points for doing so. Even the combat aspect has an 80s vibe to it, similar to the likes of Double Dragon. And, you can unlock various parts of the game with specific characters.
