Setupathi had a lieutenant Mansoor (Lal) and 100 henchmen living under him. The group of these 100 hardened criminal workers of his father raised him. Sulthan loves them as brothers and despises their taste for violence. After his father dies, Sulthan is laden with the responsibility to look after these men. So he decides to transform them and make them civilized. He looks at them as his brothers and aims to keep them safe from the police operation. Sulthan, along with his entourage, visits a village in Amaravati and falls in love with Rukmani(RashmikaMandanna).

Rukmani is the daughter of the village head (Ponvannan). He becomes a farmer to win her love, and also confronts a notorious village-head Jayendra and a powerful industrialist planning to snatch away the villagers’ agricultural lands to set up an iron ore mining company. How Sulthan saves the village and how he reforms his suit forms the crux of the story.
